Some artsy train tracks, a '41 Pontiac (that may be a lost cause), Rod showing off, and one of the oldest churches in Canada.
Otherwise known as "Not Owls".
A fantastic day of shooting with Rod Hiebert, the amazing photographer that shot Pat and my wedding 6 years ago.
We headed out dark and early and covered over 400km in search of some snowy owls, found 9 of them and some bonuses along the way.
Found a few today. A big female that stood a bit over 2 feet tall and a younger male.
Also got a few parting shots of a rough-legged hawk on my way home, so all in all, a good day.
First attempt at a concept shoot with Keziah Arsenault. The concept may not have entirely worked but that didn't stop us from producing some pretty decent shots.
These guys are HARD to find, and possibly harder to photograph.
I somehow spotted this guy from half a kilometre away while driving at highway speed, Just a speck at the top of the pole that was a little too white. Whiter than the snow or the clouds. White like I am when I try to dance.
Only managed to snap a few before he flew away, but thankfully I got this keeper.
